Bruce Taubman
President

Dr. Bruce Taubman is a pediatrician with a practice in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He has lived in Center City since 1972 and is the synagogue’s president.
Yoella Epstein, Esq.
Board Member
​
Yoella Epstein is a litigation associate at Blank Rome LLP. She was born and raised in the Philadelphia area. After graduating from University of Southern California, Gould School of Law, she moved to Center City in 2008 with her husband, Jeremy Kriger. Yoella and Jeremy are the proud parents of four girls: Neli, Neima, Adel and Kassia.


Chana Strauss
Board Member

Chana Strauss is a Midwife and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center. Originally from Central Jersey, she moved to Center City in April of 2021 with her husband Steven to complete her Masters degree in nursing. She loves the Jewish community in Center City and is a proud member of Mekor.
Jonathan Goldstein
Board Member

Jonathan Goldstein is an E-commerce Specialist and Chazzan. He moved to Center City from the Main Line for college and currently lives in Philadelphia with his wife Gwenn. He is a passionate and proud member of Mekor Habracha.
Ellen B. Geller
Treasurer
Ellen Geller retired in 2020 from her positions as the Director of the Executive Office of The College on Problems of Drug Dependence, and Scientific Coordinator for the Center on Substance Abuse Research at Temple Medical School. Ellen has lived in Center City since 1972 and is the synagogue’s treasurer.

David Margules
Board Member
​
David Margules is a partner in the Ballard Spahr law firm, where he heads the Delaware Chancery Court/Corporate Governance practice group. He is a graduate of Columbia College and NYU School of Law. David and his wife Michelle are recent transplants from Wilmington, Delaware, having come to Center City to be close to their children Andrew (married to Natalie), Elliot, Sam and Will and granddaughter Margot. David has served in leadership positions in numerous national and local Jewish organizations including the Jewish Federation of Delaware, AIPAC and JNF.
